K3 Literacy Academy
Teachers enrolling in Black Teacher Collaborative’s K-3 Literacy Academy will participate in a 2-year researched-based professional development experience to increase their literacy content knowledge and use of effective literacy instructional practices. This learning experience is designed to be comprehensive and grounded in Black Liberatory Pedagogy.

Algebra 1 Academy 2023
Black Teacher Collaborative’s Algebra I Academy provides Black Algebra I teachers with the opportunity to re-imagine their instructional practices through a more liberatory lens and re-imagine who they are as Black Algebra I educators, all while building their own content and conceptual mastery of Algebra I. As a result, students develop a stronger conceptual understanding of math, build a positive racial math identity, and see themselves as part of the equation and not the problem.
