Algebra I Academy Summer Intensive
This four-day orientation will introduce BTC’s Black Liberatory Pedagogical (BLP) Elements applied to Algebra 1 course content using real world examples and hands-on interactive learning experiences. With the support of an Algebra 1 coach, participants will create a vision for Black students’ Math learning experiences and learning that will guide their pedagogical practices for the school year. Equipped with the skills, knowledge, and mindsets, participants will create their Individual Learning Plan to use in their classrooms.
